Dress your walls boho.

When decking out your walls with a bohemian flair, almost anything goes really. Boho style can be a mishmash of all your favourite styles living together in harmony. The key elements are colour, texture and…sentiment..pieces that tell a story.  They don’t have to cost the earth, they just have to be beautiful to you. Hang a wide variety of works on your walls; think beyond the photograph or painting. Vintage is always good, something with a bit of history, but as long as you’re embracing a variety of styles from high end to lo-fi, it doesn’t matter what goes into your abode. You can actually find a wide array of curated goodies without leaving home, if venturing to the flea market isn’t your vibe or you haven’t been gathering bits for your collection thus far.

A scarf can look picture perfect in amongst drawings and framed photographs, with a hanging plant of course.

These sculptural wall sconces add a grandeur to this eclectic and fabulous space, while the mirror makes the room seem larger. Nothing needs to match for it to all ‘go together’.

You don’t have to leave beautiful clothing items hidden away in your closet either; these vintage kimonos are works of art in themselves. This entire home is a gallery of bohemian style.

A pile of books can look as pretty as any bit of decor too, even turned around to not show their spines for a more subdued palette. And never underestimate the beauty of something handmade, like these arrows I made for my little boHome!
